The Advertising Standards Agency has just banned one of those annoying Asda Arrow ads which claim Asda is cheaper, based on some paid private comparison service that customers can’t use. I complained about one of those weeks ago, but it’s only now Tesco have complained that ASA have ruled that the advert can’t be substantiated.
You won’t often find me cheering the Tescopoly, but thanks Tesco for this one!
What next? Maybe they’ll try this new advert style:-
