Comedian Victoria Wood has confirmed that she will be presenting a one-hour Christmas special called ‘Victoria Wood’s Mid-Life Christmas’ in December.
It has been nine long years since the actress/comedian has filmed a Christmas Special, which is also to be accompanied by an extra 45-minute show revealing all the outtakes and clips that have never been shown before.
Victoria Wood said of the BBC programme;
“The show is a whole night’s telly crammed into one hour. Christmas is a stressful time, and by compressing an evening’s viewing into 60 minutes, we hope families will have more time for other festive traditions such as arguing with relatives and defrosting turkeys under the hot tap.”
