UK April TV

So the latest series of Torchwood may be drawing to a close but we have the new series of Doctor Who to look forward to. The first episode hits our screens on Saturday 12th April. The children and I can’t wait, Saturday’s are a bit of a TV void at the moment (apart from Harry Hill & the repetitiveness of that is wearing a bit thin!).

Also drawing ever closer is the return of Heroes to BBC2. It’s scheduled for viewing in April but I can’t find a definite date for it on any of the numerous ‘official’ websites. I have to view these carefully as season 2 has screened in America so most of the sites are complete spoilers (ok I couldn’t resist a peek at episode 1 just to see if Nathan & Peter Petrelli survived the explosion!).

Brothers & Sisters - E4, 11pm- is back on Sunday (ok I know that’s not strictly April but it’s close). I loved the first series of this show but I can’t understand why they have scheduled it at this time, who can stay up until midnight on a Sunday when there is work/school run to get up for the next day?

It’s going to have to be recorded but my ‘TV on demand’ is bursting at the seams with must view shows and my partner makes it worse by trying to muscle in and watch football during prime time!!
