 Torchwood – Series 2, BBC2 Wednesday 9.00pm 7/13

Dead Man Walking – This episode starts with Martha about to conduct an autopsy on Owen who was shot last week on Torchwood. But, we all know Owen can’t really be killed off can he? Not now he has agreed to a date with Tosh at last!

And so the action kicks off – Jack resurrects Owen with a glove that used to belong to Death himself thus turning Owen into a gateway allowing Death to return and walk on earth.

All of this is done with Captain Jack looking pretty dam gorgeous as usual and concludes with death being vanquished and Owen returning to the land of the living. Albeit for an unspecified time scale but I suspect long enough to last out this series at least!

I have to admit that I did find the scenes where Owen was possessed by Death a teensy bit scary and I don’t think I’ll be letting my ‘Dr Who and anything to do with it’ obsessed children watch this one.
