The fourth and final FedEx Cup playoff starts on September 24th at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, when The Tour Championship tee’s off and the FedEx Cup reaches a climatic conclusion.
World number one Tiger Woods is favourite for the 2009 FedEx Cup, with Deutsche Bank Championship winner Steve Stricker, in-form Jim Furyk, former Masters champion Zach Johnson and Heath Slocum, who triumphed at The Barclays, all still in the frame for the main prize and a $10 million bonus.
Meanwhile, triple-major winner Padraig Harrington, world number three Phil Mickelson and England’s Luke Donald will all be going for a win in the final event of the 2009 FedEx Cup Play-Off Series where the world’s 30 best golfers play for a share of the pot.
