We have the winner! The reverse pterodactyl impersonator, Lee “that’s what I’m talking about” McQueen is Sir Alan’s new apprentice. Congrats to Lee, hard luck to Claire. It truly was a close call, both of them were deserving winners. Both (generally) worked hard and played nice and it’s great to see that it paid off.
I was rooting for Lee and Claire, it would’ve been a travesty of justice if Alex or Helene had won. What else are they good at, apart from staying below the radar and occasionally stabbing a fellow contestant in the back? Twelve weeks later, it’s still a mystery. The “I am only twenty four” and “I am a woman with balls” pair were quite rightly fired.
As for the male perfume, I think Victoria Wood has spotted a massive gap in that over saturated market: “Eau d’Loser”! Ah, how we laughed… Before the male readers get upset, the idea for female equivalent also has wings.
All in all, the latest Apprentice series was absolutely brilliant and guaranteed entertainment. Every task was interesting, the editing was outstanding and always left us wanting more. Except for the final night, when the dose of The Apprentice was sufficient. Now my Wednesday nights will be mine once again, provided I don’t get stuck in the Big Brother quagmire, but that’s another story, I mean blog altogether.
