Erkan Mustafa, who played Roland Browning in the top BBC Children’s series Grange Hill, is attempting to locate previous members of the cast for a special reunion party on October 8.
Mustafa played Roland in the popular series between the years of 1981 and 1987. He recently accepted a challenge from another former cast member to arrange a reunion party for the ex teachers and pupils from the show to celebrate the shows 30 years of broadcasting. The last episode of the popular programme was aired in September 2008.
Mustafa has so far tracked down thirty former cast members, including Lee McDonald who played Zammo and is asking the public to help find more of the old cast.
The reunion is scheduled to take place at London’s Sound Club in Leicester Square with money raised going to a special charity. Tickets are available through Mustafa’s GrangeHillReunion.org website.
