Only Fools and Horses
Nicholas Lyndhurst who plays the part of Rodney Trotter in the hilarious comedy is to play the part of Rodney’s father Freddie ‘The Frog’ in the prequel to ‘Only Fools and Horses’.
Lyndhurst will be joined by James Buckley in ‘Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘n’ Chips, who will be playing the part of a young Derek Trotter in the 90-minute special.
The programme revolves around the release of the notorious gangster Freddie Robdal from prison and the cast are to begin filming this month with the hope of it appearing on our screens in 2010.
Actress Kellie Bright is to play the part of Rodney and Del’s mother Joan Trotter, Shaun Dingwell will be Del’s estranged father and Phil Daniels will appear as grandfather Trotter.
Joan, who is described as Peckham’s answer to Brigitte Bardot, but is an unhappy housewife married to a work-shy Reg, and bringing up a teenage son Derek. Everything changes when news is heard that Freddie ‘The Frog’ is being released from his ten-years sentence in prison.

I think Nicohlas Lyndhurst should have his own tv series as character freddie Robdol and what really happened starting from the frogs lagacy into a freddie frog prequel including new pictures of his chatto in the coast to his new apartment with delicate paintings his chance meetings with Joan and Dci Thomas and their baby rodney re-placement dummy to record his demise
