Gavin & Stacey – BBC3, Sunday 9pm
What a great ending to this latest series of Gavin & Stacey – but why does the series have to be so short! Hey James & Ruth how about am American style 23 episode series next time? Okay maybe not quite that long, but 7 episodes is just too short!
Pam started off last night on cracking form, if Alison Steadman ever decides to leave the show my mum could definitely take over the role and she wouldn’t even need to act!
Am I the only one who is fed up of whiny Stacey, I actually hoped they would split up last night! The next series could just be renamed Nessa & Smithy – we all realise James Corden and Ruth Jones have given themselves the best characters anyway!
Smithy’s outrageously inappropriate behaviour has had me in stitches and James Corden’s BAFTA win for Best Comedy Performance was well deserved, as was the show winning Sky + Audience Award for Programme of the Year.
Please don’t take too long writing series 3 – even if America is calling!
