Doctor Who – Planet of the Ood, BBC1,Saturday, 6.20pm
We got to meet up with the Ood again in this episode. Last time we saw them they were being controlled by the devil himself and they were very creepy and menacing.
This time, despite the obvious disadvantage they have in the looks department, they were revealed as a siren singing docile race who were enslaved many years before by us wicked old humans, and had us all feeling sorry for them. Of course the Doctor freed them all.
As Donna’s ‘Catherine Tate catchphrases’ are gradually diminishing this series is becoming more enjoyable.
