Dirt – Fiver, Monday 9pm
I’m looking forward to the return of this show on Monday as I really enjoyed the first series. It was originally tucked away on Five US but can now be found on the strangely re-named Fiver channel (previously Five Live) – who comes up with these ‘catchy’ names, Dave is another that springs to mind!
Anyway Courtney resumes her role as ruthless, controlling magazine editor Lucy Spiller so we can safely assume she survived the frenzied knife attack by drug-addicted starlet Julia, whose career she had ruined in her never ending pursuit of a shocking headline.
With the rumour that a lot of the story lines in the show were based on real-life dramas, part of the fun of watching it is trying to guess who the story is about and exactly how much of it is true!
