The Arctic is on the point of enormous, irreversible change, and this stunning DVD highlights what that means to those who live their lives there. It’s the story of the winners and losers in the great wilderness.

TV adventurer Bruce Parry has built a worldwide reputation for getting right to the heart of a subject by immersing himself in the culture and environment. So while the series documents how the region is being dramatically transformed by global warming, the focus is human rather than scientific, about people not politics.

Over the course of one bright Arctic summer, Bruce and the Bafta-winning production team travel nearly 11,000 miles through Greenland, Canada, Alaska, Russia and Northern Europe. The effects of global warming are magnified here – sea ice is melting, new land is appearing and new boundaries are being drawn.

Ways of life that have remained virtually unchanged for millennia will cease within our lifetimes, while for others the untold riches of the oil, gas and minerals slowly being revealed under the polar ice cap promise countless new opportunities.

This beautifully filmed series captures all the incredible scenery of the Arctic Circle as Bruce uncovers the fascinating stories of fishermen of the coast of Alaska, oil workers tapping the vast wealth of the Canadian interior, native hunters desperately clinging on to the last breath of their culture and scientists mapping the shrinking glaciers.

The new judges comprise stylist Grace Woodward, award-winning designer Julien MacDonald OBE and male model Charlie Speed.

The winning model will receive the Britain’s Top Model title, along with a contract with Models 1, a campaign with Revlon and a cover spread with Company.

The latest series of Model claims to be bigger and better than ever before, and the new hosts have been proclaiming their excitement in working on the project.

“I am honored and excited to be chosen as a judge on Britain’s Next Top Model,” said MacDonald. “I hope my passion and experience within the industry can help create a show that is both realistic and fun, but more importantly, find the new face that can grace our catwalks.”

Julien Macdonald has been a central figure in clothes for much of the past decade, and his designs have been worn by celebrities including Kylie Minogue and Paris Hilton.

He has worked at Head Designer of Knitwear at Chanel, and as Creative director of Givenchy. He began his own label in 2004, and was awarded with the OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 2006 for his contributions to the fashion industry.

Grace Woodward was awarded ‘Fashion Stylist of the Year’ in 2009 by the British Fashion Council, is a contributing editorial stylist for Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon and The Sunday Times Style, and has sculpted editorial styles for stars that include Pharrel Williams and Duffy and Florence to name a few. Fashion and designer clothes will always be carefully sculpted for the stars.

Speed reached stardom at the age of 17 after appearing in a Calvin Klein advert with Kate Moss.

Macpherson is clearly the biggest name among the hosts, and the combined line-up is sure to draw millions of viewers across the globe.

Winehouse, who has recently referred to Bromfield as being her best friend, will stop at nothing to help Dionne become a huge success the Mirror quotes ‘a source’ as saying, and adds, ” Strictly was just too big an opportunity for them to not take.”

“Strictly have made it a priority to sign Amy and will stop at nothing to have her. X Factor have upped their game with the likes of Madonna and Robbie Williams in talks. So bagging Amy would be a real coup.”

Bromfield is the first signing for Winehouse’s own Lioness Record label.
