Unbelievably the family labelled as Britain’s laziest and fattest return to our screens for a second helping of Lorraine Kelly’s Next Big Fat Challenge at the end of August.

The Chawners came to prominence when daughter Emma appeared in the X Factor auditions and was so awful she was sent packing by Simon Cowell and the other judges, only to be confronted by the head of the family who considered that the experts had no idea when it came to spotting talent.

Luckily I managed to miss the first series as I will again for the new series, it is hard to imagine why anybody would be vaguely interested in seeing a TV company throw money at a family like the Chawners.

Lorraine Kelly has her work cut out in her second attempt at getting this family off their backsides and into work, if you are interested enough the new series premieres on August 24th at 8pm on the Bio Channel.

The Bio channel is introducing two new shows to it’s Psychic Thursday schedule, displaying the effects of the supernatural with everyday people in everyday life.

These no-nonsense cops help to separate fact from fiction, combining the skills from their day jobs and advice from the psychics, often uncovering answers that go much further than the paranormal.

In Paranormal State, Michelle Belanger, a well known psychic and expert Chad Calek help a suburban New Jersey family after discovering a local legend about their home, the team search for explanations to the unexplained occurrences, but will the powers of the experts help to save them from the strange circumstances?

Each Thursday tune in to these spellbinding stories, filled with suspense, intrigue, and twists. Playing like a supernatural thriller, each episode will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end.

All from different backgrounds, they will be living together and working together as they turn their backs on the everyday grind and slip into the role of supermodels.

But luckily top fashion designer Scott Henshall is on hand to aid and mentor the contestants as well as industry-leading gurus such as revered hair stylist, Errol Douglas and charismatic catwalk coach, Vernon Francois to help the women unleash their modelling talents.

This thrilling series will literally take women from their kitchen sink to the catwalk!

The UK premiere of In My Life, a documentary about X Factor judge and Music Manager Louis Walsh will be shown tomorrow night, Tuesday 8th December at 9pm on Bio (The Biography Channel).

The documentary includes candid and personal contributions from other X Factor judges, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne as well as fair input from Louis himself!

Bio delves deep into Walsh’s life from his early days starting out managing Johnny Logan to Eurovision success to Boyzone and their disastrous performance on The Late Late Show through to major achievements with Westlife as well as Boyzone.

In his life time Walsh has masterminded the careers of some of pop musics favourite artists, as well as Johnny Logan, Boyzone and Westlife, the canny Irishman was also behind the successful careers of Girls Aloud, Samantha Mumba and Shayne Ward as well of course as the solo career of Boyzone’s Ronan Keating.

Accompanying Louis Walsh are personal accounts from some of the biggest stars from the UK music scene including Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Lulu, Westlife, Sinitta and Ronan Keating alongside footage from and behind the scenes of X Factor, on the publicity trail with Westlife and Boyzone; up until the death of Louis’ friend Stephen Gateley in 2009.
