Ashes to Ashes – BBC1, Monday 9pm

We had to say goodbye to The Hunt and his team last night as Alex finally found a way back to the future, and Molly.  The big catch being that she is now in a coma back in 1982 after taking an accidental bullet from Gene Hunt’s gun!

This episode gave me one of the biggest laugh’s of the year though, when Ray tucked into a battered cock…..his reaction was priceless.  Alas the team were only winding him up and it was infact only a battered sausage he had stuffed into his mouth.

In was also nice to see that unlikeliest of bad guy’s, Chris, eventually redeem himself – although I was half expecting him to get shot.

Can’t wait to see the third and final series of Ashes to Ashes which has now been confirmed by the BBC.  We will finally discover who the character Gene Hunt really is and it would be nice to see Hunt and Drake finally get it on!
